Quality Engineer II

Description:
Must Haves:

Bachelor's degree in a related Engineering discipline and at least 3 years of relevant experience required
Knowledge of Quality System requirements and contract quality requirements
Experience processing product non-conformances in a Material Review Board (MRB) setting required
Understanding of GD&T principals required
Experience with Lean or Six Sigma is required for this position for the purposes of optimizing material flow through multiple functions, processes, and programs
Experience with dimensional inspection of hardware is very valuable in the role of serving as the technical interface with program assigned design, manufacturing and quality engineers
As this is a highly interactive position across multiple levels of personnel, good personal and negotiation skills are required
Experience in manufacturing and inspection
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics, parts lists, specifications, instructions and test procedures
Knowledge of SO9001, AS9001 standards

Preferred:

Experience in the aerospace and defense industry
The ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance may be required
