Project Manager

Job Description:
1. This Project Manager will provide full-time, on-site project management.
2. The PM will provide owners representation on behalf of our client.
3. Lead construction status meetings and attend status reviews, design reviews, and schedule reviews.
4. Document each meeting with open actions, assign responsibility, obtain agreement of commitment and follow up with assigned team members through closure.
5. Coordination with utility providers to ensure timely design and completion of the required temporary and permanent infrastructure aligning with project requirements.
6. Provide building permit review status.
7. Provide analysis of contractor schedules including critical path determination and float time, recovery plans.
8. Arrange completion of mock-ups and samples including approval by company.
9. Organize and provide equipment start up commissioning witness with results documented.
10. Provide written electronic summary of construction progress detailed in “Deliverable Materials” section below.
11. Provide this information to above listed Engagement resources.
12. Coordinate delivery and installation of Owners Furniture and Equipment direct with vendors, including furniture providers, information technology (IT) and network infrastructure providers, plant security systems.
13. Coordinate and organize the project team including architectural firms, engineering firms, survey firms, consultants, contractors, moving companies, and local building officials.
14. Provide construction supervision to ensure the company Environmental, Safety and Health polices, and procedure are always being followed at the construction site.

Our client is looking for a Project Manager with:
1. Proven project management performance adhering to schedule, cost and customer requirements.
2. Knowledge of ETC, Commits, EAC and project budgeting.
3. Excellent communication skills and the ability to confidently interact with executive-level internal and external Lockheed Martin customers.
4. Secret Clearance preferred - not required

Experience Required:
1. Experience managing project budgets.
2. Must be a U.S. citizen.
3. Experience with large infrastructure projects within existing facilities that must always remain operational during construction.
4. Experience in managing projects greater than $50M.
5. Experience Providing weekly teleconference status meeting, weekly electronic file status update including but not limited to the following materials: Schedule Review and update, project budget, critical design issues, RFI status, submittal status, and value engineering opportunities throughout the project.
6. Establish, organize, and manage all electronic deliverables on a SharePoint site.

Education:
1. Bachelor’s Degree with 10 to 15 years of construction management experience, including Industrial construction or master's degree with 7 - 13 years of construction management experience, including Industrial construction.
2. PMP preferred.

5. And remove any obstacles in the way of moving forward.
