Description:
We have an Excellent Direct Hire career opportunity for a Civil Drafter or CADD Technician to join a leading Company located in the Kansas City, MO surrounding area.

Job Responsibilities:
Project design and drafting in compliance with proper drafting and engineering standards to produce quality plan sets
Set up projects in appropriate CAD workspace for the design team
Be efficient in addressing comments during the quality control process
Support design team through quality control process on prepared plans

Basic Hiring Criteria:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree from an accredited college with a major in CADD Drafting or a related field
3 to 6 years of experience
Proficient in Bentley, MicroStation, Open Roads, and/or AutoDesk Civil 3D
Familiarity with design standards, including AASHTO, MUTCD, WEF, APWA and AWWA
Knowledge of client standards, including DOT, counties, and municipalities
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Must be detail-oriented and strive to perform work accurately and efficiently
Must be able to follow specific, detailed instructions to carry out routine to moderately difficult tasks
Good verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels within the organization
