Mechanical Designer / Drafter

Description:
Inconen is looking for Mechanical Designer / Drafter for our client, a well-known Aerospace Company, in Phoenix, AZ.

Job Description:
1. Mechanical Designer/MCAD Drafter with emphasis on aerospace electronics packaging.
2. Activities will include mechanical conceptual layout, detailed design, and engineering documentation.
3. Manages highly complex drafting and design of assembly drawings based on layouts, sketches and blueprints.
4. Will include utilization of computer aided design applications.

Responsibilities may include:
1. New product development from concept through production.
2. Generate detailed solid models and engineering drawings.
3. Processing documents through document change system.

Qualifications:
1. Extensive mechanical design experience required.
2. Related technical degree a plus.
3. Extensive solid modeling experience.
4. Siemens NX preferred, but must adapt easily to other modeling tools.
5. Experience with Siemens Teamcenter PLM Software preferred.
6. Strong knowledge of GD&T ASME Y14.5.
7. A background working on avionics design related experience a plus.
8. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes.
9. Applicant should be highly motivated and have excellent communication skills.
10. Close attention to detail required.
11. Good organization and planning skills required.
12. Effective Teamwork.

Education:
1. High School Diploma.
2. 5+ years of related work experience.
