Job Responsibilities:
Activities to include tooling design, tooling procurement, fabrication, and conduct tooling functional checkout.
Responsible for tooling design based on efficiency, ease and safety or operation, ease of maintenance, and cost of fabrication.
Interface with suppliers and manufacturing personnel.
Responsible for tool design requirements are met.
Coordinate tooling functional process.
Understand manufacturing operations.
Parachute Design and Loads Analysis.
Parachute/Extraction System Modeling and Simulation updates.
Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) of Parachutes and Target System.
Oversee field installation and testing of Parachute design.

Basic Hiring Criteria:
Minimum of 2 years of professional experience working with parachute deceleration systems or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related major
Three years of directly related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience working for a public company or public accounting firm with financial reporting experience.
6DOF simulation deceleration systems Experience
Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) software Experience
Ability to program and use MATLAB/Simulink.

Desired Qualifications:
Experience with programming in C, C++, and Fortran and using MATLAB/Simulink.
Experience working with deceleration systems.
Experience using CANO, CALA, TENSION, and/or LS-DYNA analysis tools.
Working knowledge of aircraft/missile dynamics and control.
Airdrops from military aircraf Experience.
Active DoD Secret Clearance.
