Manufacturing Engineer

Description:
A Manufacturing Engineer job in Greensboro, NC is currently available through Belcan. In this role, you will develop strong communications with internal teams to estimate manufacturing costs, determine time standards and make recommendations for tooling and process requirements of new or existing product lines. To be considered for this role, you will have a Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering, a related specialized area or field is required plus a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree.

Manufacturing Engineer Job Duties:
* Create manufacturing documentation (bills of material, travelers, work instructions, etc)
* Design, select, and procure fixtures, tools, and machinery
* Implement continuous improvements to reduce defects, improve speed, and grow profitability
* Resolve purchased material issues and disposition non-conforming assemblies
* Provide shop floor support and training to assemblers

Qualifications:
* A Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering, a related specialized area or field or equivalent experience) plus a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree
* Working knowledge of MS Office software packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
* Working knowledge of Creo and/or SolidWorks
