Industrial Engineer - Direct Opportunity

Description:
Industrial Engineer - MUST BE US PERSONS

Location: Mojave, CA
Duration: Full Time
Start Date: ASAP

Performs and evaluates work measurement and workflow analysis for the establishment of standards and the utilization of production facilities. Develops plant and equipment layout, capacity plans, workflow and accident prevention measures to maintain efficient and safe utilization of plant facilities. Provides product assembly instructions and standardizes assembly practices. Evaluates new techniques and technological developments for inclusion in the production process.

Requirements:
Experience typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 6 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 3 years experience; or equivalent experience.
Knowledge and experience implementing Lean Manufacturing and Kaizen techniques.
Strong knowledge of the relevant aerospace manufacturing processes and specifications including high performance composites fabrication and structures.
Experience in process improvement, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.
Experience working in Integrated Project Team Environment.

Preferred Skills and Experience:
Masters of Science in Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering from an accredited Institution with 6 years’ experience
Experience with OSHA regulations and State/County codes a strong plus
Experience with shop floor layout planning and improvement a plus.
Engineering Design Software a plus.
